Diagram output and xy package

Abstract: In this paper diagram output with xy package is considered. The following topics are covered: Matrix diagram template; Arrows drawing; Labels creation; Arrows types; Bent arrows; Shift of arrow labels; Frames for nodes and labels; Parallel arrow shifts; Text in diagrams; Scaling and rotating of diagrams; Arrows intersections. Consideration of all issues is accompanied by detailed descriptions and example commands for xy package. Material of the article may be used by authors of scientific publications requiring complex diagrams.
