The Fourier law for a one-dimensional crystal

M. A. Guzev

Institute for Applied Mathematics, Far Eastern Branch, Russian Academy of Sciences, Vladivostok

Abstract: For a large number of particles, an analytic representation is obtained for the heat flux of a one-dimensional harmonic crystal. It is shown that the heat flux from one particle to an another one is not linked with the temperature difference between them, i.e. the classical Fourier law is not.

Key words: Fourier law, one-dimensional harmonic crystal.
