1D-simulation results of indirect-driven target optimization for ignition at Iskra–6 facility

Abstract: A design of an indirect-drive ignition target for the Iskra–6 laser facility is proposed. One-dimensional simulations show that the 1.7 MJ fusion yield can be achieved at an energy absorbed by the target of about 30 kJ.
