Thermoelastic stability of a compound annular plate with free edges

Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to study stability of a concentric compound annular plate with free edges under thermal influence. To fully satisfy all boundary conditions Hermite polynomials of the 5th degree were applied. A general form system of linear homogeneous equations is proposed enabling in nontrivial solution of equations to plot graphs of critical temperatures against geometric and physical-mechanical parameters of the compound plate.
