Performance indicators for scheduling destruction

Abstract: The preservation of outdated information is the basis both for the investigation of accidents, and for reversion of computer system to its previous stable state. Full retention of all versions of any information requires the unreasonably large storage place. Some known schedules for backup and destruction promise resource savings.
The effectiveness indicators are introduced for scheduling destruction of unnecessary copies. Their possible indicators values are described. The recommended schedules are evaluated with indicators.
As a result, the following hypothesis is proposed: much more rithmic scheduling destruction may be found for greater efficiency.
