Numerical optimization of the parameters of a chemical D2–F2–CO2 amplifier of nanosecond pulses

Abstract: A theoretical investigation was made of the behavior of the principal characteristics of a chemical D2–F2–CO2 amplifier of nanosecond pulses. Parameters which could be optimized were identified. The calculations made it possible to optimize the specific energy output and similar characteristics of the amplifier.
