Compact industrial CO2 laser source

Abstract: The results are reported of the development and preliminary testing of a compact industrial CO2 laser source in which the gas is circulated with a centrifugal fan. The specific overall volume of the device is 0.6 m3/kW for a laser output power of 5 kW.
