Spatial polarization wavefront reversal under conditions of four-wave mixing in biochrome films
E. Ya. Korchemskaya, M. S. Soskin, V. B. Taranenko
Abstract:
Theoretical and experimental investigations were made of the polarization properties of a reversed wave created as a result of four-wave mixing in an isotropic medium with an anisotropic nonlinearity. New conditions were found for complete spatial polarization wavefront reversal which were realized using an anisotropic nonlinearity of biochrome films based on bacteriorhodopsin.
