Correlation of the condensation of the emission spectrum with time characteristics of laser pulses

Abstract: Gaseous plasma was used to control the characteristics of the output radiation of a GSGG:Cr3+ laser. The use of a plasma medium made it possible to alter the spectral radiation power and the duration of the pulses by several orders of magnitude.
