Two-level correlation function of an electron in a random field

Abstract: The optimal fluctuation method [1] is applied to the calculation of the two-level correlation function of the discrete energy levels of an electron in a Gaussian random field. Spatial repulsion of states of nearly equal energy is demonstrated.
