Ward identities in gauge theories

A. A. Slavnov

Abstract: Generalized Ward–Takahashi identities are obtained for gauge theories of the type of the massless Yang–Mills field. It is shown that all the divergences of the Yang–Mills theory can be removed by means of a renormalization of the charge and the wave function.
