Partition function of the hydrogen system in the metallic state

Abstract: The partition function for the electron gas in the field of arbitrarily positioned protons is calculated. The free energy of the system is represented in the form of quantum virial expansions for the electron subsystem and the energy of the many-particle effective interactions of the protons.
