Magnon-magnon interaction in a square lattice

V. K. Tkachenko

Abstract: A square lattice of spins 1/2 with exchange interaction between nearest neighbors is studied. The eigenfunctions of two magnons describing magnon-magnon scattering are found. Conditions of singular scattering are given. The magnon-magnon interaction cannot be neglected even in the long-wave limit.
