On the solution of the chain of equations for an ideal gas

Abstract: The possibility of solving the chain of equations for ideal gas is considered and in the completely homogeneous case some exact solutions for many-particle distribution functions are obtained, which correspond to equilibrium states of a special type. The formulae for stress tensor and termal flux calculated with the aid of the solutions obtained are given.
