Phase separation in the $\varphi^4$ hierarchical model

Abstract: The structure of the typical configurations in the low-temperature region of the scalar $\varphi^4$ hierarchical model is investigated. The asymptotic behavior of the canonical partition function of the hierarchical model in the region of phase coexistence is found in the thermodynamic limit.
