Cross section for capture of a particle by a spherically symmetric body and different types of finite motion in the relativistic theory of gravitation

An expression is obtained in the framework of the relativistic theory of gravitation for the cross section for capture of a particle that has an arbitrary velocity at infinity by a fairly compact spherically symmetric body. A comparison is made with the corresponding relations obtained in the framework of general relativity.
