Quasiexact theory of three-dimensional optical self-focusing

Abstract: We find a quasiexact three-dimensional analytic solution of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation describing the field of a stationary optical beam in an unbounded homogeneous nonlinear isotropic medium supporting a state of linear polarization.
