On the theory of convection of electrons in metals

Abstract: With the kinetic equation, the phenomenon of convection of electron gas in metals is described and the drag force experienced by the convective flow of electrons is calculated. As a result of the theory, the estimation of the coefficient of volume expansion of the gas of free electrons, $\beta_e$, is given and its numerical estimation is presented.
