Numerical solution of problems in radiative heat transfer in three-dimensional domains of irregular shape with mirror (Fresnel) boundaries

Abstract: The numerical method, suggested previously for solving axisymmetric problems of radiative heat transfer in domains of complex shape with both diffuse and mirror (Fresnel) boundaries, is generalized to the three-dimensional case. The method combines approaches employed in the conventional method of discrete ordinates and in algorithms of the ray tracing type.
