Reliability of data on the thermophysical properties of materials: Three examples

Abstract: An analysis of data agreement as the main method for estimation of the reliability is performed for the thermophysical properties of matter using three examples: (1) the density of liquid mercury at $20^{\circ}C$, (2) the transport properties and the second virial coefficient of rarefied gases, and (3) the compressibility of alkali metal vapors at high temperatures and pressures.
