Inadequacy of hydrodynamic models of the boiling crisis on surfaces with porous coatings

Abstract: Studies were made of the effect of the characteristics of the coatings on the critical thermal loads and main characteristics of the elementary processes taking place during boiling in a large volume on surfaces with porous non-heatconducting coatings. The inadequacy of hydrodynamic models of the boiling crisis for these conditions is established.
