Theoretical foundation of oscillating-cup viscometry for viscoplastic fluids

Abstract: The working equations of the oscillating-cup method for rheostable fluids are obtained. The method of description of viscoplastic fluid flows in unsteady viscometric systems without numerical formulations is developed. The solution features are noted for the direct and inverse problems of the nonlinear oscillating-cup viscometry.
