Effect of particles on carrier gas flow turbulence

Abstract: The experimental and computational theoretical studies of the dispersed phase (particles) effect on the parameters of a carrier gas phase turbulent flow have been reviewed. The main physical mechanisms by which particles with different inertia affect the main characteristics of turbulent flows have been described and analyzed.
