ОБЗОРЫ АКТУАЛЬНЫХ ПРОБЛЕМ

Внутримолекулярный эффект тяжелого атома в фотофизике органических молекул

Аннотация: В обзоре систематизированы данные о влиянии внутримолекулярных спин-орбитальных возмущений, вносимых тяжелыми атомами, на фотофизику органических молекул (внутримолекулярный, или “внутренний”, эффект тяжелого атома). Основное внимание уделено двум классам соединений: 1) галогенпроизводным ароматических и гетероароматических соединений; 2) производным порфина (галогенированные порфирины и металлопорфирины). Усиление излучательных и безызлучательных интеркомбинационных переходов при эффекте тяжелого атома приводит к тушению флуоресценции и сокращению длительности фосфоресценции. Фотофизические исследования показывают, что вероятности переходов в разных каналах дезактивации возбужденных электронных состояний специфически зависят от стороения молекул, содержащих тяжелые атомы. Это позволяет получать информацию о спин-орбитальном взаимодействии в молекулах и их электронной структуре, а также управлять параметрами хромофоров и люминофоров в оптических системах.
