Large-sized mirrors in force optics

Abstract: Results of researches on creation of large-sized mirrors in force optics from such materials, as invar, SiC, a composite material C-Si-SiC are discussed. Methods of calculation of thermal deformations in cooled mirrors are developed at light loading. The way of reduction of weight of the mirrors, based on application of materials from multilayered cellular structures and porous materials is offered.
