Mathematical description of crystallization by the virtual volume method

Abstract: Using the virtual volume method, a mathematical description of the crystallization of multicomponent metallic melts is obtained. Model takes into account the effects of dynamically changing parameters such as component concentrations and temperature, on the processes of nucleation and growth of the nuclei.
