Abstract: A splitting method is modified so as to cover arbitrary electric field magnitudes, which substantially expands the domain of applicability of the method.

Key words: nonstationary processes, splitting method, distribution function, ion concentration distribution, resonance recharge, kinetic equations, reverse currents, crossover.
