International conference "Nonlinear Approximations and Applications" dedicated to the 60th birthday of Professor V. N. Temlyakov
(October 29–November 1, 2013, Steklov Mathematical Institute of RAS, Moscow)

Steklov Mathematical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences organizes an International conference "Nonlinear Approximations and Applications" dedicated to the 60th birthday of Professor V. N. Temlyakov.

The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers from diverse areas of analysis and applied mathematics, to stimulate international collaboration, and to promote interaction and the exchange of ideas. The meeting will also be an occasion to discuss the field of analysis at large, to highlight and compliment its past achievements, and to explore its future.
