Abstract: In this presentation, we will study an effective criterion for the existence of a decoherence-free subspace (i.e. free from the noise) in an open quantum system. In addition, in some cases one can exactly solve the master equation of an open system. We will study an algorithmic method to obtain an operator sum representation (Kraus representation) of the solution.
