The maximum principle for discrete control systems

Abstract:
The optimality condition (necessary, and under certain additional requirements, sufficient ones) for the problem of the discrete control with the free end of trajectory are discussed. These conditions may be considered as the extension of the L. S. Pontryagin maximum principle to the descrete control problems.
