Computing process restoration algorithms

Abstract: The post-fault computing process recovery isperformed by a modified linear restoration algorithm which finds among the surviving program states the last one which is associated with faultlessly operating hardware. The recovery sequence which has this feature is shown to be unique and executed without any constraints imposed on the interval between the start and detection of the fault. The recovery costs are estimated In quantitative terms.
