Discrete Systems

Structure of monotone stabilized digital

I. E. Zuber

Leningrad
Abstract: A linear controller is designed which features a minimal number $r$ of control signals and insures stability and monotone decrease of a specified nonnegative quadratic form on any solution of a closed-loop system. The general form of permissible control distribution matrices and of their dual feedback matrices is determined. A controller is designed which is optimal in the sense of maximizing the quadratic form rate of decrease.
