Computers in Control

Cellular parallel methods of solving linear algebraical equation sets

E. G. Sukhov

Moscow
Abstract: Cellular versions are discussed of methods to solve linear algebraical systems which use the accumulation operation $ax+b$. Square root algorithms are presented for symmetric matrices and reflection method algorithms for matrices of a general form. The number of necessary arithmetical operations is estimated for parallel jointly controlled computers.
