Moscow
Abstract: The paper puts forward a technique for estimating the software costs for organization of self-repair as a tool to improve reliability of computing systems whereby. A number of parameters and the desired reliability of the initial system are recomputed into two generalized parameters. A two-dimensional plot is developed and constructed where the axes are these parameters; in the plots the regions of optimal in-built, unit, or bit level of self-repair with the resultant redundancy are specified.
