Optimum control of systems described by Volterra integral equations

M. A. Monastyrskiĭ

Moscow
Abstract: The paper is concerned with optimal control in systems which can be described by integral Volterra equations with mixed constraints on phase coordinates and controls. The necessary optimality conditions are introduced as the Principle of Maximum and a system of integral equations. A technique to reduce the order of the optimality equation system is proposed for certain particular cases.
