Large-scale systems and operations control

Certain problems of optimization of process of sequential pumping of oil-products along main pipe-line

V. N. Burkov, F. S. Nuriev

Moscow
Abstract: The statement and the solution of two problems are presented. The first problem is connected with the determination of the allowable plan of pumping oil-products into the product pipe-line under the restrictions on the capacity of the reservoirs of the supplier and of the consumers. In the second problem the losses resulting from mixing up various oil-products in the process of sequential transportation are minimized.
