An urban passenger traffic system as a process to be controlled

Basic problems in computer-aided management of urban passenger traffic (UPT) are considered such as determining the need in using UPT and managing this need, resource generation, and managing the meeting of the demand in using UPT by the resources. Solution methods are described. Hardware and software of the carrying process are characterized for computer-aided systems of supervisory UPT control.
