Automata

A finite automaton as a plant

V. V. Rudnev

Moscow
Abstract: A finite automaton, nondeterministic in a general case, is regarded as a plant. The behaviour of such a plant in a control loop is described. Conditions for controllability of plants of this type are given. An algorithm for design of a dead beat digital controller which responds to behaviour of the plant is proposed.
