Course by G. B. Shabat "Classification problems in algebraic geometry"
(February 8–April 26, 2021, Steklov Mathematical Institute, Room. 303 (8 Gubkina) + Zoom)

The course will contain an overview of the solved and unsolved problems of the classification of algebraic manifolds and their generalizations. The general mathematical and scientific problems will be briefly considered, while the special results will concern curves, surfaces and abelian varieties.
