Recording the position of a blast-wave front in air

Abstract:
This paper describes a simple method of determining the trajectories of blast waves in the near field of explosions of condensed explosives. The method is based on the experimental finding of the occurrence of an electric potential across the core of an antenna through which the front of a blast or a shock wave passes.
