Abstract: We have studied the propellant action of mixtures of explosives with aluminum. We have shown that the gasdynamic conditions under which the work of head-on propulsion is done affect the energy output of the secondary reactions occurring the detonation products. We formulate the basic features of the process of energy release by aluminized explosives.
