Abstract:
To study the effect of the height and thickness of a steel shell on the velocity of an explosively formed projectile (EFP), an EFP forming test is carried out, the EFP velocity is tested, and the EFP is soft recovered. The results show that the influence of the shell on the EFP velocity is mainly concentrated in the upper part of the liner. If the shell height is 0.5 times the charge height, the EFP velocity can reach more than 90
