Research of ideal hybrid perovskite-gold interface with stationary Green's operator method

Abstract:
The object under research is the interface of a hybrid halide perovskite of MAPbX$_3$ type with gold which is considered as one of the optimal electrode materials combined with perovskite. The interface is supposed to be ideal and forming a superlattice, which is partially realized in the known literature. The consideration, carried out by stationary Green's operator technique, shows that the energy levels of gold above the Fermi energy form surface states in the bandgap of the perovskite upon which the electrons from the metal can migrate (metal-induced states). Together with intensive electromigration of the halogen ions from the perovskite, these surface states provide an effective channel for current transfer in the perovskite cells.
