Crystallization temperature of bismuth microparticles

Abstract: The dependence of the crystallization temperature of bismuth microparticles on their size has been measured using calorimetry. It has been shown that, for particles with radii of more than 10 $\mu$m, this dependence can be approximated by the logarithmic function. The crystallization temperatures at the ends of the studied range of particle sizes agree satisfactorily with the data available in the literature.
