Abstract: The model of power shortage evaluation of electrical power system is analyzed. The model is intended for analysis of reliability problems of electricity supply. Nonlinear power losses in power lines are took into account in the model by that it is represented as a nonconvex programming problem. The way of presentation of this model in the form of convex problem is showed and theoretical justificated.
Keywords: model, electrical power system, reliability, power shortage.
