The modified algorithm of localization of the elements of the face based on Viola–Jones method

Abstract: There is offered the modified algorithm of localization of the elements of the face, such as the inner and outside corners of the eyes, the tip of the nose, the peculiarity of which is presence of several levels of classification permitting to increase significantly the exactness of revealing in comparison with the existing algorithms of searching. The software providing location of some anthropometric points of a face in the video flow has been elaborated. It has been experimentally demonstrated that application of this approach gives 98% of correct localizations, for each element of a face which allows to applying the proposed algorithm in the real systems of biometric identification.
