SUR/MP: Parallel PIC 3D Code. I.Maxwell Equations

Abstract:
The first part of the universal parallel 3D3V PIC-code, which simulate the propagation of short relativistic laser pulses in plasma, is developed. Implementation of 3 - dimensional Lee mesh is proposed and described in details. The mesh is convenient for solution of the Maxwell's equations using the implicit local conservative scheme. The various kinds of the boundary conditions are implemented. The application of MPI library is described for the case of classical model of domain decomposition. The detailed description of testing problems for this code checkup is presented. The conditions of applicability of new PIC code are discussed.
