Decision support for mineral deposits grouping

A. V. Ponomarev

St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation of RAS
Abstract: A set of simplified mathematical models for mineral resources deposits grouping is proposed. The models are organized into hierarchy from the basic model to several specialized ones to fit the characteristics of the territory being analyzed. The methods for optimal grouping based on the proposed models are pointed out.
Keywords: territorial planning, facility location, discrete location theory, discrete optimization.
