Abstract:
The hybrid supercomputer K-100, created in 2010 in the Keldysh Institute of Applied Mathematics together with the “Kvant” Research Institute, is briefly described. It consists of 64 compute nodes only, having a total power consumption of about 80 kW, and has a peak performance of 107 TFLOPS. The cost of creating K-100 was only 65 million roubles. Along with two 6-core general-purpose processors, the K-100 compute node includes three 448-core nVidia Fermi graphics accelerators. Some applications of the K-100, together with usage and maintenance experience, are briefly presented.
Keywords:
