Approaches to the information system formation “Digital Land Reclamation”

The aim of the research is the development of methodological approaches to the formation of the information system "Digital Land Reclamation". The conducted analysis of scientific research on the application of information technologies in the field of land reclamation showed that the problem of information support for land reclamation activities lies in the fact that the research conducted is scattered, the research results were not brought to a modern uniform information format and there isno systematic approach to solving this problem. The concept of “digital land reclamation” is given, taking into account all aspects of reclamation activity. The structure and methodological approaches to the formation of an information system are substantiated. The formation of a unified information system “Digital Land Reclamation” will make full use of existing developments in the field of information technologies together with advanced results of research in the field of land reclamation, increase the efficiency of management decision making in the reclamation works at all stages of the reclamation system life cycle.
